What are dried fruits?
They are fruits from which most of the water has been removed. They are also called dehydrated fruits. They are high in fibers, nutrients and antioxidants.
How are Paxsile dried fruits dried?
We wash, cut and place fruits in our low temperature dehydrator, which ensures water is gently removed without cooking the fruits, to retain most of the nutrients in our dried fruits.
What do you add to your dried fruits?
We do not add sugar, no preservatives, our dried fruits are 100% natural. Our fruits are being processed at a perfect level of ripeness, which makes the natural sweetness in the fruits come through.
Are your dried fruits gluten free, nut free and vegan?
Yes, our dried fruits are gluten free, nut free and vegan. We have nothing added. Note, we do not process our fruits in a nut free kitchen. However, we keep strict personal and equipment hygiene protocols to ensure no cross contamination.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Our dried fruits snacks are shelf stable for 6 months to 1 year, if kept in a cool and dry area. For optimal freshness, keep in an airtight container. Better still, refrigerate.
How much dried fruits is too much?
We recommend eating one serving of dried fruits per day. Our 25g pack size has one serving of fruit, this will help with portion control. Dried fruits have naturally occurring sugars, so should be eaten in moderation.
Where do you ship to?We ship across Canada. Orders within Calgary take 2 to 3 business days. Outside Calgary AB and Canada wide typically take 4 to 5 business days.
